KU Nyumon, Tegumi & Aragaki Seisan

  • aldenham school sports center Borehamwood WD6 3 UK (map)

The 4th gathering of the Watford Kai KU Study Group, we'll be looking at the KU Nyumon (entry-level) drills, KU tegumi (hand-grappling) drills and KU Aragaki Seisan kata (form and application practices).

For those of you who are new to these drills, step by step instruction will be offered. If you're familiar with the drills, we'll try to finish them from beginning to end!

Unlike the previous Watford-based KU study groups this is a full day course.

We hope this will give already existing KU club instructors, students, supporters and enthusiasts, as well as anyone unfamiliar with Hanshi Patrick McCarthy's pioneering method who want to join us, the chance to make it down.

The course will take place just prior to Hanshi McCarthy's upcoming European Tour 2017, so whether you're familiar with these drills or not, this will be a great opportunity to come together and work our fundamental practices.

The course will be led by London-based KU shibucho Sensei Joost Frehé.

Costs are 35 only, please contact Sensei Steve Howlett at steve@westwatfordkarateclub.co.uk for further info and bookings.
